Perry Students Celebrate Women History Month

The newest mural in the neighborhood was painted by a group of extraordinary women artists as a part of celebrating March - Women History Month. The students from Perry Center have assisted the artists while the mural was produced and now take trips to the site to study the artwork and more importantly to discuss role of women, mothers and sisters in our community. Invitation: Warhol Through the Eyes of Perry Kids

This exhibit, sponsored by The Fridge DC and Albus Cavus, showcases art pieces created by Perry Center students under guidance of Ms. Alicia Cosnahan. The students studied and celebrated works of AndyWarhol including paintings, sculptures and film. Enjoy meeting the young artists, talking to them about their love for Andy Warhol and art in general and help us raise funds for new art supplies so we can make more art. Thank you all supporters and friends who are making this show happen.
